Florida Green Vacation Travel

Florida is a natures preserve all on its own. From the white powder beaches of Navarre, to the Crystal River Archaeological State Park, there's something for everyone here. From natural beauty to the historical sites, coming to Florida is like stepping into another world.

While much of the United States is made up of wild geology, Florida is mostly made up of the wash from the mountains. Land simply pushed further and further out into the Atlantic as it eroded from the mountains of the American Southeast. This process continues as the Everglades is testament to this proces.

While Florida is far from most places, travel doesn't have to be overly burdensome. There are plenty of airports with direct flights to most of the U.S. and there is rail and bus access as well.

While it is also a major embarkation point for cruise lines, there are plenty of things to do while staying in the state. From every form of water sport and ecologically friendly theme parks to spas and getaways that will cater to even the most demanding guest.
